ONLINE GIFT CERTIFICATESOnline gift certificates are redeemable online only at www.builtny.com and cannot be used at a department store or specialty store. Builtny.com online gift certificates can be purchased in increments of $25. They can be sent via e-mail to any individual with a valid e-mail address. Because we currently only ship within the United States, the recipient must also have a valid shipping address in the United States. The recipient of an online gift certificate will receive an e-mail with a gift certificate code redeemable only at www.builtny.com. BUYING AN ONLINE GIFT CERTIFICATESimply fill out the form here and we’ll automatically email the gift certificate code and your message directly to the recipient. If you’d rather print the online gift certificate and email the code to the recipient yourself, enter your e-mail address in the section of the form that says "Recipient E-mail," then select the amount you’d like to give and proceed to checkout. We’ll email the gift certificate code to you so you can pass it to the recipient directly. REDEEMING AN ONLINE GIFT CERTIFICATEEach online gift certificate e-mail contains a specific gift certificate code. Please follow the steps below to redeem an online gift certificate. 1. Select items you wish to purchase by clicking "ADD TO SHOPPING CART." When you're ready to check out, click on "VIEW SHOPPING CART" on the upper right corner of the screen and proceed to the "SHIPPING & PAYMENT" page. 2. At checkout, enter your online gift certificate code, then click the "REDEEM." button. (Please note that codes are case sensitive.) Your order amount should be adjusted accordingly. You can then review your order or, if the certificate does not cover your entire purchase, pay the balance with a credit card or another gift certificate. 3. If you have more than one builtny.com gift certificate, you can use multiple certificates for one purchase. Just enter the codes one at a time, then click the "REDEEM" button after each code. Online gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase. RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ONLINE GIFT CERTIFICATESOnline gift certificates can be redeemed only at www.builtny.com. You cannot purchase an online gift certificate with another online gift certificate. If the amount of your online gift certificate does not cover the total purchase amount, you will need to pay for the remainder of the purchase with a valid form of payment. If the amount of your online gift certificate exceeds the total due for your order, the balance will be stored on your online gift certificate account for future use. Online gift certificates are non-transferable, non-refundable, and are not redeemable for cash. Online gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase. We cannot replace lost or stolen online gift certificates. No sales tax is charged when buying online gift certificates; however, purchases paid for with online gift certificates will be charged applicable sales tax.
