I bought this knowing that I was going to purchase a digital camera later, assuming I could return it if the camera didn't fit. Fortunately, it did. It is a tight fit to get the camera in - you have to pull the top back and sort of "bow out" the bottom portion, but once you get the hang of it, it's not a problem. The tight fit keeps the camera safe.
