I bought this case as extra protection for my laptop when I don't carry it in my backpack. It works great. Its easy to slide the computer in and out of, and the hard tray inside protects it well. I bought it myself, but when my husband went to get my laptop out one time he was impressed himself, and he's not easily impressed. Only negative is it does attract pet hair, but a lint roller gets it off easily. Now looking for which case I'd like for my iPad.
