I've used Built NY Laptop sleeves for my various computers for years, and the one thing I always wanted on them was a shoulder strap, so I could carry the computer hands-free without having to put it into an outer bag. The sling is all that: it's slim form does not add a lot of bulk or weight, and its removable strap allows me to put it over my shoulder and go without digging out my big bag. It's important to me that this bag is also TSA compatible. Take off the strap (and stow it in another bag), and you can put the laptop through the security x-ray without taking it out of the sling. I've tested this several times. Finally, the blue nautical color and design are gorgeous!

The case was lightweight and attractive. I was a little disappointed to find that this product isn't manufactured in the United States. I still like the product and it seems well made.
