Important information about payment: For your security, your billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not match these criteria. We are only able to accept credit cards drawn on a U.S. bank. ONLINE GIFT CERTIFICATESOnline gift certificates are redeemable online only at www.builtny.com, and cannot be used at a department store or specialty store. Builtny.com online gift certificates can be ordered in increments of $25. They are sent via e-mail to any individual with a valid e-mail address. Online gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Since we currently only ship within the United States, the recipient should also have a valid shipping address in the United States. The recipient of an online gift certificate will receive an e-mail with a gift certificate code redeemable only at www.builtny.com. BUYING AN ONLINE GIFT CERTIFICATEBUILT online gift certificates make giving easy. Fill out the form below, and we’ll automatically email the gift certificate code with your message directly to your recipient. If you’d rather print or email the online gift certificate to your recipient, enter your e-mail in the recipient e-mail section of the form, and select the Amount you’d like to give. Proceed to checkout, and we’ll email the gift certificate code to you. REDEEMING AN ONLINE GIFT CERTIFICATEEach online gift certificate e-mail contains a gift certificate code. Follow the steps below to determine how you can redeem your online gift certificate. Shop www.builtny.com and select items you wish to purchase. When you're ready to checkout, click "view shopping cart,” and proceed through checkout. Enter your online gift certificate code (codes are case sensitive) on the shipping & payment selection page. Click "redeem." If you have more than one builtny.com gift certificate you can redeem them by entering in the codes one at a time, and clicking the “redeem” button after each code. RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ONLINE GIFT CERTIFICATESOnline gift certificates can only be redeemed through www.builtny.com. You cannot purchase an online gift certificate with another online gift certificate. If the amount of your online gift certificate does not cover the total purchase amount, you will need to pay for the remainder of the purchase with a valid form of payment. If the amount of your online gift certificate is for more than the total order amount, the balance amount will be stored on your online gift certificate account for future use.
Online gift certificates are non-transferable, non-refundable, and are not redeemable for cash. We cannot replace lost or stolen online gift certificates. No sales tax is charged when buying online gift certificates; however, purchases paid for with online gift certificates will be charged applicable sales tax. When making a purchase online at www.builtny.com, you can redeem more than one online gift certificate code per order by entering in the codes one at a time, and clicking the “redeem” button after each code.
