This cover is perfect for the IPad 2 with the smart cover, it fit like a glove. I feel very confident this will protect the back of the IPad 2 from scratches when traveling or just daily use. I highly recommend this product, another Great design from Built! I did get the clear one and you can hardly tell you have a cover on the back of the IPad.
